But really, if you look at the north - and much of the south - very little has been built since the 1930s. And of what is built, very little was actually built by the state, even in London.

I wonder how many people realise the majority of the tube and rail networks were built by private companies!

I worked at Pret and survived their toxic bullying culture during bereavement. They force their staff to smile vja strict weekly mystery shopper visits, or they get penalised.

And Pret remain unsafe despite customer deaths & injuries. Pret are £700million (going on $1 Billion) in debt while aggressively expanding. Increased reports of food poisoning from different countries. Here's just the tip of the iceberg, and just from 1 site, via Vimeo:
