Extremism is valorised by the media, who present those on the marches as normal, ordinary people swept up in the emotion of events. We need to stop pretending this is true.
Not protest marches, celebrations of slaughter of Jews and support and encouragement for more. They should not have been allowed because they incite hatred and violence. Those on them need deporting to Gaza or Afghanistan.
Having never been on a protest march before, I went on plenty of protest marches during the 2020-2023 global mass hysteria event. It could be, however, that I am not normal.
I stopped going when it morphed seamlessly into a "Ukraine should welcome Russian troops with open arms" "peace" movement.
Exactly how that happened I am not sure. By all means make your views on that issue known, yea whether I agree with you or not, but don't conflate it with utterly justified protest against government mass hysteria. That dilutes that protest in 2 ways: you are protesting about 2 things, and people who don't share the view on the other issue stop coming.
